So my last job paid me waaaaay to much to do monkey work, and now that I'm on EI, I'm getting paid the normal wage for all equivalent jobs. This free money will continue to roll in for a year.
It's boring, but I get free money to play with every month.
I can't help but feel I should be looking for a new job, but I really don't give a fuck about working for some bloody infected abscess of a company, answering phones, or replying to emails.
How can I get myself prepared for the job market again?

I made the smallest amigurumi I've ever attempted — two bears that stand just 1¼" (3½cm) tall. I usually crochet with worsted-weight wool, but this time I used crochet thread. You can see the scale in this post.

Hi, I'm trying to find a Death Note fic I read some time ago. It is a Light/L fic, but also has some Light/Mikami. Light chooses to give up the death note in order to be with L, but L then leaves. Light goes on to work in the Japanese police, eventually becoming the chief. He also gets a boyfriend, Mikami. Then Kira starts killing people again and L comes back to Japan. Eventually, Light finds out that Mikami and Misa are acting as Kira and he remembers that he was Kira. Light still loves L, so he writes Mikami's name in the death note making him confess and leaves the death note. Then Light escapes and leaves Japan. He gets a fake ID from Mello who's running the mob and becomes a doctor. He continues to hack into L's computer, forcing L to find him. Then they meet up again. I believe this is a completed fic. Thanks.

Whooo I'm so excited to have finally finished this!
I'm new to the community and the fandom; I just watched the entire series for the first time a few weeks ago and I fell in love. So here's a lil fic, fresh off the desktop, what will hopefully be the first of three parts.
Title: Teppanyaki Dango

Warnings: Violence, language. Nothing worse than what Mugen would do. Spoilers for the end of the series.

Summary: 5 years after Ikitsuki Island, Jin and Mugen must come to the assistance of a pregnant, restaurant-owning Fuu. Yakuza, nosy neighbors, and burnt dumplings abound.

In another world, much like the Narutoverse, Orochimaru had similar ambitions. This included living forever and learning every jutsu he could. However in this world Orochimaru completed a time travel jutsu, or so he thought.
We have numerous character options, however we're are especially looking for Sasuke, Kabuto and Gai, as well as others on our Character Request sheet.
We're a fun and active rp that has been going on since November 2006. Our campaign is narutoverse based with a spice of crack and fun. The original game branched off from Chapter 330 of the manga -- that was two years ago. Now another catastrophe has hit the world (Happened 3/20/09) and Konoha has been replaced with a different Konoha which has branched off as of chapter 420. We need more of a population for this Konoha! This is a great time to join a fun RP. Contact one of the mods for any questions.
